SCREEN Europe has appointed Marco Tornelli as EMEA CTP Sales Manager to strengthen dealer partnerships, revitalise key markets, and reinforce the company’s long-term commitment to offset printing technology across Europe as the world’s top provider of this technology. 

Aalsmeer, the Netherlands – SCREEN Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Marco Tornelli as EMEA CTP Sales Manager, reinforcing the company’s commitment to its leading Computer-to-Plate (CTP) technology and dealer network across the EMEA region. 

With over 16 years of experience in the automotive and healthcare industries, Marco has a strong background in dealer relations, having worked across Latin America managing distribution networks, developing incentive programs, and aligning sales partners with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) goals. He built a reputation for creating commercially successful partnerships that boosted regional sales and long-term engagement. 

Supporting Growth and Partnerships 

In his transition to the print industry, Marco brings with him a strategic mindset rooted in collaboration and coordination. He plans to channel these qualities into strengthening SCREEN’s presence in the evolving CTP market by fortifying relationships with existing CTP dealers while developing new partnerships that align with SCREEN’s high standards for quality, service, and reliability.

A Night to Remember

Honfleur, France – French magazine Pap Argus, specialising in label printing and packaging, recently hosted its annual “Nuit du Papier” (Night of Paper) awards, celebrating achievements in producing sustainable label printing and packaging in various categories, including Circularity in Food and Cosmetic Packaging, Printing and Converting, Sustainable Development and many more.

The Nuit du Papier is one of the foremost events in the French label and packaging industry, drawing participants from all the major French packaging organisations competing for the spotlight.

A Transformative Impact at Nuit du Papier

SCREEN’s Sales Director for France, Thomas Lossec, attended this year’s Nuit du Papier, where he graciously accepted the “Pap’Awards de l’Impression for Transformation in Packaging – Paper & Cardboard” on behalf of the triumphs in design and sustainable engineering of the new Truepress PAC 520P digital press for paper packaging. This award focuses on achievements in manufacturing solutions in paper and cardboard packaging with the potential to have a long-term transformative impact.

The selection committee was impressed by the Truepress PAC 520P‘s capability to redefine the use of paper substrates in a wide range of packages as one of the first digital inkjet printers for the paper packaging market.
